Apologies for the terrible, terrible pun. But I couldn't resist. Bad puns are like that.
Third day of no battery assistance, and it was 24km and 300m of ascent to do the lovely ride to Ponet (which itself has a delightful little circuit). As before, the little climbs were exceedingly slow, to keep my heart rate down (measured by keeping breathing at a 'could hold a conversation easily' rate).
It's a while since I've moseyed around the tiny streets in the village and gone up the sharp little hill (I walked, slowly!) to the temple and église, but it's all very pretty. Well worth the effort! My only complaint is that the excellent post explaining the geology is points its hole at the wrong geological feature!
